The Prevalent Technical Solutions Consultant will be working as part of the Professional Services Team, a dynamic and multi skilled team delivering client facing professional services and solutions across a range of service deliverables.
The Technical Solutions Team is responsible for delivering custom built API integrations between the Prevalent Platform and other upstream/downstream enterprise applications for our clients. In collaboration with Project Leads and Professional Services Consultants, the Technical Solutions Consultant will work with clients to identify business requirements, conversion of these requirements into technical use cases and working with development teams to develop custom API integrations tools using a dedicated IPaaS solution. Additionally, the Technical Solutions Consultant will act as a first line response resource for current integration support issues and inquires, development of minor middleware enhancements, and to help drive early adoption of the integrated solution.
In addition to the core responsibilities, the Technical Solutions Consultant may be assigned internal API driven projects designed to help enable both internal and external customers. These projects will be designed, managed, tested, and maintained by the Technical Solutions Consultant with additional Prevalent resources assisting where needed.
You will need to be able to learn and be confident in the use of new technologies to include SaaS and IPaaS software, and have the ability to quickly understand upstream/downstream technologies and how these technologies would integrate with Prevalent. Having a high-level conceptual understanding of SDLC methodologies and best practice is required. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable with being able to understand and optimize data driven workflows.
The Technical Solutions Consultant must be able to support multiple projects at various stages of the API Integration lifecycle. There is an emphasis on being dynamic, flexible and to be able to think outside of the box while maintaining a logical and methodical approach.
The role is pre-dominantly remote based, but there remains the requirement and ability to travel to conduct onsite client meetings and visit the Ottawa office periodically.
You must have a current and valid work permit to be employed in Canada.
