Sales Engineer - UK/EMEA

Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Engineer in the UK. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical resource for sales and channel managers, responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products to key customers within the region.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as an integral team member by supporting the regional Sales Account Executive team acting as the Prevalent solution expert
  • Collaborate with the Sales Account Executive team on content for proposals, statements of work, and RFI/RFPs in the generation of net new business and upsell opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver prospect and customer presentations and demonstrations, both remotely and onsite, to all levels of management
  • Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
  • Identify all technical issues of assigned partners and customers to assure complete satisfaction through all stages of the process
  • Lead the account team in the design, planning, and implementation of a customer focused third-party risk solutions
  • Provide consultative support for partners and customers on Prevalent solutions
  • Provide education and training on Prevalent technology
Education/Training/Experience
  • Approximately 3-5 years of Information Security experience as a presales engineer and/or support engineer       
  • 3-5 years of experience working for global software vendors, building, supporting, and/or selling security solutions
  • Strong understanding of industry-recognised enterprise risk/audit/compliance frameworks, standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO31000, ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, NYDFS, etc.)
  • Ability to identify and explain Prevalent product differentiators

  • Ability to understand and analyze customer technical needs
  • Significant travel within the region may be required
