Renewals Representative

Job Description

Prevalent is seeking an experienced software sales professional, with a strong background in managing the renewal base for a SaaS product, to drive customer retention, renewals, and growth within the renewal base. In this position you will work with both the sales and customer relationship management teams to ensure customers are attaining maximum value from our products and identify opportunities for growth within established accounts.

Requirements
  • Intimate knowledge of the metrics and measures of a renewals business including renewals churn rates, and net growth
  • Strong software sales background, where you have demonstrated competency in driving renewal rates and growth
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve established goals and quotas on a quarterly basis
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce CRM
  • Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage client relationships and renewal of all contracts in assigned territory to protect and grow revenue
  • Proactively monitor the funnel of expiring agreements and execute actions in timely manner to ensure the continuation of assigned customers on maintenance agreements
  • Interface with sales management, technical support and business unit teams to help ensure customer success
  • Identify opportunities for revenue expansion, and provide these leads to the sales team
  • Efficiently handle customer and partner inquiries related to quotes, pricing, co-terming, up-selling and reinstatement of maintenance contracts
  • Accurately record all activities in Salesforce
  • Leverage internal resources to work with assigned customers to address questions/issues and provide timely solutions
  • Ensure all customer communication, whether written or verbal, is fulfilled in a professional, accurate, and timely manner
  • Aggressively use available resources to help resolve technical challenges presented by the customer
  • Prepare and present ongoing account renewal and revenue expansion forecasts
  • Research and build new relationships within existing accounts
