Regional Sales Manager - Great Lakes Region

Job Description

Prevalent is seeking a sales professional with a proven track record of success to join our Regional Sales team, covering the Great Lakes region across Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. The Regional Sales Manager will sell our market-leading third-party risk management solutions to a full spectrum of market segments through customer-focused, consultative selling. The Regional Sales Manager will develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level decision makers and other key buyers within the region, as well as build and maintain the regional partner ecosystem.

  • Penetration of the region to identify and close new-logo business
  • Develop add-on business from existing customers within the region
  • Target and penetrate at the CISO/CIO level, and other key leaders as required
  • Identify, cultivate and formalize relationships with key partners and third parties involved in the decision-making process
  • Work with Prevalent Business Development to ensure all leads are followed up on and driven through the sales life cycle
  • Work with the Sales Engineering team to demonstrate solution capabilities and ensure positive customer outcomes
  • Work with Customer Success Managers to maintain customer relations and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Work with the Channel Alliances team to influence, build and maintain effective relationships with the Partner ecosystem
  • Drive prospects through sales process, owning follow-up and continued activity to drive to close
  • Leverage Prevalent internal resources, negotiate terms/pricing and close deals
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline consistent with achieving future sales objectives through continuous cold prospecting and existing relationships
  • Uphold forecast accountability on a weekly basis
  • Manage regional marketing presence in coordination with our marketing team (e.g., conferences and events)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of successful SAAS software sales experience in the region. InfoSec, Risk Management, GRC or Procurement/Sourcing experience is preferred.
  • Track record of success in identifying, cultivating and closing six-figure deals
  • Experience successfully working with the regional channel/partner ecosystem
  • Proven track record of conducting in-person, executive-level presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and navigate a range of internal and external influencers, motivating them to select and implement solutions
  • Knowledge of Information Security and Risk Management desired
