Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a PHP Software Developer to work within our growing software development team located in Chineham Basingstoke. You'll be a vital part of the team helping to design and build new features, as well as to improve the overall quality of our existing codebase. Along with a talented team of developers, you'll be solving interesting and challenging problems, whilst using industry best practices to create scalable software solutions. You will work within a busy agile software development team focused on short development sprints and regular release cycles.

Essential Skills
  • PHP (OOP)
  • MVC Frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
  • HTML & CSS
  • Javascript/jQuery
  • GIT version control
Desirable Skills
  • TDD, Unit Testing, integration testing, PHPUnit
  • Knowledge of common design patterns
  • Agile scrum experience
  • AWS experience
  • JS frameworks such as AngularJS or EmberJS
  • Knowledge of API's (e.g., RESTful, oAuth)
