Management Team

  • Jonathan Dambrot

    Chief Executive Officer / Co-Founder

    Jonathan brings many years of entrepreneurial and management experience to Prevalent. He has worked with both large and medium enterprises to create solutions to better comply with government regulation and mitigate InfoSec risks.

    He has spoken on the need for third-party risk management at the leading industry events including RSA, Shared Assessments Summit, ISACA, ISSA, Infragard, NYSE, and others. Jonathan also helped develop the Risk Assessment Body of Knowledge (RABOK) as part of the development of Shared Assessments efforts to develop the first of its kind certification for third-party risk professionals (CTPRP). He is former Chair of both the Shared Assessments Steering Committee and Shared Assessments SIG Committee and was honored at the 2015 Shared Assessments Summit with a Special Achievement Award for his work on the Certified Third Party Risk Professional certification.

    Jonathan is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, received his MBA from The Pennsylvania State University, is a Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • Karen Tegan Padir

    Chief Product Officer

    Padir is a 25-year veteran within the software industry, having served a multitude of successful technology and leadership roles with organizations including Progress, Sun Microsystems, Red Hat, and EnterpriseDB.  Early on in her career, she had a passion for understanding the big picture of how people interact with technology in business. She made it her mission to experience firsthand all aspects of this Business-IT connection—from product inception, development, and delivery through customer deployment and support.

  • Jim DeBlasio

    CFO / VP of Operations

     Mr. DeBlasio joins Prevalent from technology startup, Kiswe Mobile, where, as an Investor, he held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Head of Sales, and Head of Strategy. DeBlasio brings with him an extensive background in leadership, finance and driving operational excellence throughout his career in the Software and IT Services and Telecommunications industries.

  • Van Ice

    Chief Software Architect

    Van Ice brings more than 20 years’ experience driving enterprise software innovation and emerging technology design across a broad range of industries. For more than a decade, he was Chief Architect at Archer Technologies, a subsidiary of RSA Security and the leading vendor of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms.  Under Ice’s strategic and technical leadership, his team engineered the development of Archer’s eGRC product into the leading solution in the GRC marketplace, offering the depth, breadth and adaptability to manage multi-disciplinary risk across the global enterprise. Prior to Archer, Ice served as senior technical consultant for a variety of firms including Sprint and The Sunflower Group.

  • Brad Keller

    Senior Director of Third-Party Strategy

    Brad has been developing and leading risk management programs for more than 25 years. He has developed and implemented vendor and business risk management programs at several financial institutions that have substantially improved risk management while also passing federal regulatory scrutiny. He focuses on the delivery of Prevalent’s third party risk management and assessment solutions, and the consulting to support those solutions. Brad graduated with honors from the University of Missouri with a BS in Finance and received his JD with honors from St. Louis University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma.

  • Gina Jehn

    Senior Director of Operations and HR Services

    Gina brings to the Prevalent team a fresh approach and motivated outlook on managing the company’s day-to-day operations. Her over 20 years of experience includes being a Purchasing Manager for one of the largest garment resellers on the East Coast. Her ability to react quickly and think on her feet helps Prevalent service customers more efficiently and effectively. Most recently she spent several years overseeing an international import company where she managed the New York office as well as their international office in Hong Kong. Graduating from Richard Stockton College of NJ with a BA in Marketing, Gina has a diverse business background.

  • Norman W. Menz III

    Chairman / CTO / Co-Founder

    As CTO and Co-Founder, Norman brings over 20 years of software engineering and information security technology and management experience to Prevalent and is focused on the strategic direction of Prevalent’s portfolio of products. He brings both a visionary and practical approach to cybersecurity and risk management and leads the product teams to create solutions that meet client needs today, and also provide them with scalability to meet their needs of tomorrow.

    Earlier in his career, Norman developed a number of information security and IT risk programs, but decided to focus his attention on the biggest information security risk to organizations; which is the loss of data due to third-party relationships. Norman is a thought leader on third party and external information security risk and regularly speaks at industry events on the importance of understanding and mitigating risk associated with third parties. He is a Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) and a contributor to the Shared Assessment’s Risk Assessment Body of Knowledge.

    Norman received his university degree in Business Management and has been perusing entrepreneurial actives in technology since before becoming a Seton Hall University Pirate.

  • Michael Triplett

    Managing Director, Insight Venture Partners

    Michael is a managing partner at Insight Venture Partners. He focuses on investments in Infrastructure and Application Software companies and has been instrumental in investments in more than 20 companies, many of which have achieved fast growth and realized significant value for shareholders and employees. Notable among these are the IPOs of Click Commerce, Solarwinds Inc. (NYSE: SWI), and Quest Software, and the acquisitions of Aelita Software (acquired by Quest Software), Authorize.net (acquired by Go2Net), Astaro (acquired by Sophos), BeyondTrust (acquired by Veritas Capital), Imceda Software (acquired by Quest Software), eEye Digital Security (acquired by BeyondTrust), Folhamatic (acquired by Sage plc), GFI’s TeamViewer (acquired by Permira), Kabum! (purchased by founders), Metalogix (acquired by Permira), and ScriptLogic (acquired by Quest Software).

  • Thomas Krane

    Senior Associate, Insight Venture Partners

    Thomas primarily focuses on high-growth SaaS companies within infrastructure, cybersecurity, and education technology. In addition to Prevalent, Thomas has worked with Insight’s investments in Tenable, Cylance, Mirantis, Skytap, LiveAction, Achieve3000, BrightBytes and 1stdibs. Thomas received a Masters and BA in Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania (Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude). Outside of work, Thomas is an avid musician and has toured with his band across the Northeast.

  • Dr. Kevin Charest

    DSVP & CISO, Health Care Service Corporation

    Kevin serves as the DSVP and Chief Information Security Officer for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). He is responsible for all facets of IT security for the largest member owned healthcare company in the United States. Prior to joining HCSC he led global cyber defense operations for UnitedHealth Group – the largest healthcare company in the world. He also served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of Health and Services (HHS). His leadership in technology applications, innovation, and security were instrumental to the development of numerous products and services. As the board secretary for (ISC)², Dr. Charest works across multiple industries and platforms focused on information sharing for cyber defense improvement.
