Experienced Sales Leader Dave McNamara Joins IT Security Visionary to Expand High-Performance Sales Team and Enhance Customer Relationships  

Warren, New Jersey –– January 7, 2015 –– Prevalent, the third-party risk and vendor threat intelligence innovators, today announced Dave McNamara as Vice President of Software Sales.

In this newly created role, McNamara will lead and grow Prevalent’s sales efforts by building on its customer success, introducing best practices, and establishing new relationships with midmarket and enterprise organizations across the U.S.

Prior to joining Prevalent, McNamara held several leadership roles with Application Security, Inc., a leading provider of database security software solutions, which was acquired by Trustwave Holdings in 2013. Most recently, he served as the company’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Earlier in his career, McNamara held sales leadership positions for several software start-ups including Neteos, Inc., Security-7 Software, Inc., Bisys Networking Services, Inc., and Network Defenders. He began his career in sales and marketing with the Motorola Information Systems Group, where he served as Director of Product Management and Marketing. McNamara holds a BS Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
