CEO / Co-Founder
Jonathan brings many years of entrepreneurial and management experience to Prevalent. He has worked with both large and medium enterprises to create solutions to better comply with government regulation and mitigate InfoSec risks.
He has spoken on the need for third-party risk management at the leading industry events including RSA, Shared Assessments Summit, ISACA, ISSA, Infragard, NYSE, and others. Jonathan also helped develop the Risk Assessment Body of Knowledge (RABOK) as part of the development of Shared Assessments efforts to develop the first of its kind certification for third-party risk professionals (CTPRP).
Jonathan is former Chair of both the Shared Assessments Steering Committee and Shared Assessments SIG Committee, and sits on the Penn State Outreach Advisory Board.
Jonathan has recently won several awards. He was recently honored by Penn State for his work with the World Campus in its first ever Outstanding Alumnus Award in October 2015. He was also honored at the 2015 Shared Assessments Summit with a Special Achievement Award for his work on the Certified Third Party Risk Professional certification.
Prior to working in the technology industry, Jonathan launched a highly successful, consumer products company where he won several collegiate entrepreneurial awards. Jonathan is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, received his MBA from The Pennsylvania State University, is a Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Jonathan is also a magician and is known to perform for co-workers, clients, and friends.
Norman W. Menz III
CTO / Co-Founder
Norman brings more than 16 years of IT and management experience to Prevalent. He brings a practical approach to information security and risk management, mixing both effective solutions with thoughtful, practical and creative approaches.
Norman has been involved in all aspects of IT and InfoSec including design and integration, project management, and security policy development across the enterprise. He understands the business issues clients deal with and works with them to develop appropriate products and solutions to insure their business operations flow seamlessly and securely.
Chief Strategy Officer
Matt brings 20 years of growth stage technology and strategic corporate development experience to Prevalent. Prior to joining Prevalent, Matt was an Executive in Residence at Grandbanks Capital where he evaluated venture capital investments in cyber security, cloud and big data. Prior to Grandbanks, Matt was Head of Corporate Development, M&A and Strategic Investments at RSA Security, the Security Division of EMC.
Earlier in his career, Matt was a co-founder and senior executive at several growth stage technology companies including Arigo, a leader in global vendor compliance. Matt was also a seed stage investor at Redleaf Ventures and led venture capital investments in the Tech Group of GE Equity. His professional skills include strategic planning, M&A, business development, strategic alliances, and corporate finance. Matt received his MBA in entrepreneurial finance from Babson College.
Chief Operating Officer
Brian Zeman is an experienced Operating Executive in the Big Data, Cloud, Trust and Mobile spaces with twenty years of leadership in Sales, Marketing, Services & Product Operations. Brian’s expertise includes scaling early stage businesses to maturity as well as leading and advancing large global organizations in both on premise and advanced software-as-a-service business environments.
Brian prides himself on rapidly assessing market opportunity, building and inspiring superior teams, understanding the value of a customer, and driving consistently exceptional results. He believes passionately in leading by example and takes seriously the privilege and responsibility of having his employees trust him with their careers.
In his most recent role, Brian had Chief Revenue responsibility for SevOne, a growth stage, ventured-backed company providing the leading digital infrastructure management platform to many of the world’s largest Enterprises and Service Providers. Prior to that, Brian had P&L responsibility for the Global Services and Product Operations at RSA, the Security Division of Dell EMC.
Vice President of Worldwide Third-Party Risk Sales
Dave McNamara is a 30-year veteran of the software industry. His pragmatic application of technical, marketing, and sales skills has lead to his recognition as an innovator and a visionary sales leader in the information security software and solutions market. As Vice President of Software Sales, Dave leads Prevalent’s sales team driving customer success and establishing new relationships with mid-market and enterprise organizations worldwide. Prior to joining Prevalent, Dave served as VP of Worldwide Sales for Application Security, Inc., where he was responsible for the management of all direct and indirect sales. He held senior-level management positions at several entrepreneurial start-ups and Fortune 1000 corporations including Motorola, Bisys, and Security 7. Dave holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
Eric von der Linden
Vice President of Sales Engineering
Eric brings an entire career worth of technology to the Prevalent team, from his eight years of data storage experience with EMC2 and Wachovia bank, to six plus years designing and implementing information security and risk management solutions at Prevalent.
Eric’s passion for learning continues to with his most recent certification from Shared Assessments, “Certified Third Party Risk Professional” (CTPRP). Eric’s tasked with building out the Sales Engineering team and helping deliver “the Prevalent Experience” to all of Prevalent’s clients.
Vice President of Channels & ARM
With a history of Direct and Channel Sales in Security, BI, & Financial Applications with depth both with on-prem and SaaS delivery models, Devin carries with him extensive experience selling, building sales teams & strategies, and then overachieving against them.
As he took his early direct selling experience to Management & then the Channel, he has always focused on sustainable revenue growth and predictable, repeatable performance. Building on his experience with Telco & ISP partners he expanded to include wide scale success across the broader channel community delivering multiple solutions through Distribution & the different resellers.
Latest experiences include Channel Director for ForeScout Technologies. Prior to ForeScout, Cloud Channel Sales responsibility for MessageLabs and then Symantec. Flexible and a team player, Devin is a Sales Professional that understands today’s changing markets and how to deliver long term success.
Senior Director of Operations and HR Services
Gina brings to the Prevalent team a fresh approach and motivated outlook on managing the company’s day-to-day operations. Gina brings with her 20+ years experience and more recently as a Purchasing Manager for one of the largest Garment resellers on the East Coast. Her ability to react quickly and think on her feet will most certainly help us to service our customers more efficiently and effectively. Most recently she spent several years overseeing an International Import Company where she managed the New York office as well as their international office in Hong Kong.
Graduating from Richard Stockton College of NJ with a BA in Marketing, Gina has a diverse business background that has proven to be beneficial not only to Prevalent, but to customers alike.
Senior Director of Third-Party Strategy
Brad Keller has been developing and leading risk management programs for more than 25 years. During this time Brad has developed and implemented vendor and business risk management programs at several financial institutions that have substantially improved risk management while also passing federal regulatory scrutiny.
Focusing on the risk of doing business online, he has implemented leading edge programs for the identification and mitigation of identity theft and online fraud. He has testified on behalf of the financial services industry at Congressional hearings on customer privacy issues; and, is a frequent member of financial industry led initiatives that address issues related to risk management, anti-phishing, online fraud, customer privacy, and authentication issues.
Today Brad is the Senior Director of Third-Party Strategy at Prevalent, where he focuses on the delivery of Prevalent’s third party risk management and assessment solutions, and the consulting to support those solutions.
Prior to joining Prevalent, he was a Senior Vice President with The Santa Fe Group focusing on the management of the Shared Assessments Program. At Shared Assessments he led the development of Shared Assessments tools, training, and the risk management professional certification program.
Brad graduated with honors from the University of Missouri with a B.S.degree in Finance and received his J.D. with honors from St. Louis University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma.
Senior Director of Marketing
With 20 years of experience in both marketing and technology, Betsy Walker oversees Marketing for both Prevalent and Prevalent Security Solutions. Prior to joining Prevalent, Betsy held several senior leadership positions within software startups and large enterprises, including IBM and Infosys, where she developed and executed marketing strategies that accelerated brand growth and helped to exceed revenue goals.
Betsy holds an MBA and is currently completing her dissertation on the impact of emotional intelligence on leadership, focused specifically on technology marketing leaders.
Director of Product Management
Over his 25-plus year career, Jeff has managed a diverse set of technology products that have included some of the first SaaS scheduling and communication software, telephony and industrial speech recognition software, scientific research instrumentation, and most recently, enterprise security software. Jeff holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, an MS in Systems Engineering and Technical Management from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from Seton Hall.
Director, Third-Party Risk Consulting
Drew has 15 years experience creating lasting change for commercial and federal organizations. His expertise is in simplifying and streamlining vendor risk management and procurement functions in order to balance risk, regulatory, service and cost objectives. Prior to joining Prevalent, Drew established and led a Third-Party Risk Management consulting practice for Booz Allen Hamilton in response to emerging threats and regulatory pressures. He currently leads the VRM consulting function at Prevalent and is responsible for the integration of VRM Software with client operations.
Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
